Ouachita’s basketball teams played their cross-town rivals Henderson State University Feb. 26. OBUSignal.com partnered with the broadcast students in the mass communication department to produce the university’s first televised athletic event in the school’s history.

The Ouachita Baptist University softball team was scheduled to play six games in three days starting Friday at the Arkansas-Monticello Classic, but because of weather conditions the classic has been cancelled and no make-up date has been scheduled.
The Lady Tigers (10-6) will resume action 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 4 at Sully Anderson Field against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
The Ouachita Baptist University men’s basketball team made just four 3-pointers, and shot 50 percent from the free-throw line as Henderson State spoiled the Tigers’ Senior Night with a 68-57 victory Thursday night in a Gulf South Conference West Division game at Bill Vining Arena. (more…)

A team of 21 Ouachita Baptist University students and faculty recently traveled to Fayetteville, Ark., to help with the disaster relief efforts from last month’s ice storm.
Ouachita Baptist University is displaying artwork from the Arkadelphia Public Schools in Verser Theatre lobby Tuesday, Feb. 24, through Friday, March 6. The exhibit will feature pieces by students from all grade levels. (more…)
Josh Bynum, trombone, will present a faculty recital with Kazuo Murakami from the University of Central Arkansas on piano on March 2 at 7:30 p.m. in Mabee Fine Arts Center’s McBeth Recital Hall on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University.
