Ouachita’s Hammons Gallery to host guest exhibit, “Perspectives on Painting: Dolores Justus, Carey Roberson and Steven Wise”

ARKADELPHIA—Ouachita Baptist University’s Hammons Gallery will host a guest artist exhibit Aug. 24-Sept. 18. The exhibit, “Perspectives on Painting: Dolores Justus, Carey Roberson and Steven Wise,” features three Arkansas artists and is curated by Donnie Copeland, OBU assistant professor of visual arts.

Ouachita earns No. 1 ranking from U.S. News for third straight year

Thursday, Aug. 20, was no ordinary day on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University. In addition to dedicating a $26 million, state-of-the-art Student Village, Ouachita was ranked the No. 1 Baccalaureate College in the South for the third consecutive year by U.S. News & World Report. (more…)

Seven Ouachita student-athletes named to GSC All-Academic Team

ARKADELPHIA, Ark.—Seven student-athletes from Ouachita Baptist University have been named to the Gulf South Conference’s 2009 Spring All-Academic Teams, including three Ouachita baseball players, two softball players, one golfer and one member of OBU’s women’s tennis team.
