“The Signal” is the student newspaper of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Ark. The newspaper and multimedia teams produce a weekly print edition and the online edition.
Ouachita was established in 1886, and it is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Ouachita offers undergraduate programs of study in the liberal arts. Small classes are the norm rather than the exception and Ouachita’s student to faculty ratio is approximately 13:1. Ouachita is located in Arkadelphia, Ark. (65 miles southwest of Little Rock) near scenic Lake DeGray State Park, Hot Springs, Ark., and Hot Springs National Park.
