E very year, Campus Ministries hosts its annual Fall Retreat as an effort to get freshmen acclimated to Ouachita as well as to give upperclassmen a chance to mingle with their new Ouachitonians. The Fall Retreat will be held at Camp Paron on August 27 and 28. As part of this time together, students will hear teaching from Ouachita alumni Matt Morrison as well as have the option to attend a variety of different breakout sessions discussing missions, girls and guys only topics, and how to thrive in college. Of course there will be games, snacks, delicious meals, and a cool new t-shirt.

The theme of this year’s Fall Retreat is “Thrive: Keeping an unyielding faith in college.” Students can expect to encounter challenging teaching as well as an incredible student led worship time. During this time they will also receive information about the opportunities to get involved with Campus Ministries during the school year. The Fall Retreat is the perfect way to meet other people, get plugged in, and start the school year off on the right foot. The Fall Retreat costs $32 to attend. Checks can be made out Campus Ministries and mailed in prior to the event at CM Fall Retreat 410 Ouachita St. OBU Box 3783 Arkadelphia, AR 71998.
