Ouachitonian yearbook and editor receive state awards

Yearbook makes 100th book, recognized by Scholastic Press

The Ouachitonian hit two milestones this year. It won numerous awards from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association for last year’s yearbook and is currently putting together the 100th edition of the book.

Ouachitonian yearbook receives national awards

ARKADELPHIA, Ark.—Ouachita Baptist University’s 2008 Ouachitonian yearbook received seven Gold Circle Awards from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA). The awards were recently announced at the annual CSPA convention held in New York City.

Ouachitonian, Signal earn publication awards

The Ouachitonian yearbook and The Signal newspaper of Ouachita Baptist University have each been awarded the Gold Medalist rating from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA) of New York City. The Gold Medalist rating is the highest award given in CSPA’s annual critique of college yearbooks and newspaper from across the country.
