T he Ouachita Baptist volleyball team got back into the win column over the weekend with a pair of 3-0 victories over Hendrix College and Champions Baptist College at Grove Gymnasium.
Against Hendrix, the Lady Tigers (3-14) took the match with scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-13.

Libby Merritt and Kaitlyn Mitcham paced the Ouachita offense with 14 and 11 kills, respectively. Lexie Hegi added 32 assists. Defensively, Raichel Settle and Lauren Stuart finished with 17 and 13 kills.

Ouachita had 45 kills, while hitting .391.

The Lady Tigers completed the successful day with a 3-0 win over Champions Baptist with scores of 25-13, 25-4, 25-9.

Kristyn Howk had nine kills, while Kate Strom added eight. Hegi chipped in with 27 assists and Stephanie Carrell finished with a team-high 14 digs.

Ouachita returns to Gulf South Conference action 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 30 at Arkansas-Monticello.
