Additional information available on shooting incident

November 20, 2008

12:39 p.m: According to the Siftings Herald, Brandon Yarbrough, 23, of Memphis, Tenn., allegedly fired the shot. Police made three arrests in connection with the shooting. Yarbrough and the other two were allegedly waiting in the parking lot for the intended victim to return to the Henderson dormitory. Al Harris, police chief, said the intended victim’s ex-girlfriend was one of those arrested. Officers also recovered a .380-caliber, semi-automatic, handgun. At press time, all three face charges of aggravated assault. Yarbrough is also charged with discharging a firearm from a vehicle.
