“Everyone is close, I think. In Japan, professors and students are not too close. But here, they have home party and we can go there, so I really like that. Also, between the friends, everyone says ‘hi’ and something. In Japan, friends [just nod and smile], they don’t say ‘hi.’  So I like the relationships.”
