Moser signs to play men’s tennis at OBU

Ouachita Baptist men’s tennis coach Craig Ward announced Wednesday that Daniel Moser has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Ouachita Baptist this fall.

Moser jumped into the spotlight during his freshman year at Texarkana High School. He was a state quarterfinalist in singles action. Also as a freshman, Moser placed second at the Arkansas Qualifier, while being award the fighting Tiger award on the high school team and the Jay Freeman’s Most Improved Player Award for the state of Arkansas.

As a sophomore, he won the Arkansas Qualifier, while being ranked No. 1 in Arkansas 16s. He finished the season ranked 38th in the south.

Moser, a native of Texarkana, Texas, was a state finalist in doubles play in high school and was tabbed the team’s Most Valuable Player. He was ranked second in Arkansas 18s and finished the year ranked 54th in the south.

As a senior, Moser was a state semifinalist in singles play. He placed second best in the Arkansas 18s and ranks 61st in the south. He graduated Magna Cum Laude, while receiving the Principle’s Award.
