Senior Ledbetter named to All-GSC West Division second team

Ouachita Baptist University had one player selected Monday to the All-Gulf South Conference West Division second team.

Rowan Ledbetter, who finished his collegiate career with a 31-point performance against Harding on Saturday, was the lone Tiger to make the team.

Arkansas Tech and Christian Brothers each had two players selected to the All-GSC West Division First team. Thiago Cordeiro and Chad Henderson (Arkansas Tech) and Nick Kohs and Reggie Peyton (Christian Brothers) were joined by Delta State’s Chad Akins on the first team.

Kohs was named the GSC West Division Player of the Year, while Christian Brothers’ Scott Dennis earned freshman of the year honors. Christian Brothers swept the awards as Mike Nienaber won coach of the year.

On the second team, Delta State placed two – Alton Robinson and Eric Spencer, while Harding also had two, Trent Morgan and Kevin Brown.
