Spotlight on Arkadelphia set for Aug. 23

August 18, 2011

Ouachita Baptist University’s 18th annual Spotlight on Arkadelphia will be held from 8-10 p.m. Aug. 23 in OBU’s Student Village and Heflin Plaza.

The community and service fair, which draws hundreds of Ouachita students, faculty and staff, is an opportunity for area businesses, churches and organizations to introduce themselves to the Ouachita community.

Approximately 80 vendors are scheduled to participate in this year’s event. Community participants typically provide free samples, coupons, brochures and other giveaways during the two-hour event.

Ouachita Baptist University, a private Christian liberal arts university in Arkadelphia, is ranked nationally among “America’s Best Colleges” by both U.S. News & World Report and Forbes magazines. Serving since 1886 as a Christ-centered learning community, Ouachita seeks to foster a love of God and a love of learning.
