Ouachita (11-2, o-2 GSC West) ranks second in the nation in digs as a team, while the Lady Tigers also rank in the top-five in the GSC in hitting percentage, opponent hitting percentage and service aces. Ouachita travels to Arkansas-Monticello Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m.

The award is the first of the season for Frizzell and for Ouachita. Earlier this season, Frizzell and Ouachita junior Libby Merritt both earned spots on the Christian Brothers All-Tournament Team. Arkansas Tech outside hitter Laura Farney earned GSC West Player of the Week honors.
