Soulforce, an organization promoting the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and queer individuals, arrived at Ouachita Nov. 5. The group was not invited by the university, but it came anyway as part of its series of visits to Christian universities.

The university created a staging area for the group near the Hammons House behind Jones Performing Arts Center, and several OBU students visited with the members of Soulforce.
