OBU cross country 16th at region meet

The Ouachita Baptist University women’s cross country team placed 16th at the NCAA Division II South Region meet Saturday at Wyldewood Retreat Center.
The Lady Tigers recorded 399 points as Tampa won the regional with 28 points. Harding recorded 47 points to take second and UAH grabbed third with 96 points.

Logan Lyles was the first Ouachita runner to cross in 40th place in a time of 24:52. Amanda Boyce (68th) crossed in 26:12, while Avery Begley was 94th in 27:41. Hannah Wagley (99th) came in 28:07 and Monica Davis (108th) crossed at 28:57. Nikki Anderson (112th)was the last Lady Tiger to cross in 29:10.
