Humans of OBU: International

February 9, 2016

“There’s too many wonderful, funny, crazy, meaningful memories I’ve made at Ouachita that it’s really hard to pick just one. One of my favorites would be winning 3rd place three times in a row with Eta doing the Janitors show my Junior year. I had a blast every time we went out on stage. I felt like we performed the best we could to make the audience in JPAC laugh. Every year our goal is to spread the joy we have as brothers in Christ with the audience, so hearing people laugh during our performances makes us feel accomplished even if our show might not be the best quality. Being part of a men’s social club like Eta has brought me a lot of joy and spiritual growth through different experiences like this one. I never thought that I, as an international student, would pledge, or sing and dance on a stage, or become president of a social Club at OBU. I’m thankful God allowed me to be at Ouachita and experience all of this and so much more!”
