OBU Division of Music presents Matthew Landers in junior voice recital

ARKADELPHIA, Ark.—Matthew Landers, a senior music theory and composition major from Dallas, Texas, will present his junior voice recital on March 13 at 2 p.m. in Mabee Fine Arts Center’s McBeth Recital Hall on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University.


Landers will perform Sergei Rachmaninoff’s “By the Grave,” followed by Charles Gounod’s “Vous Qui Faites L’endormie” from Faust, Richard Strauss’ “Der Einsame” and Gioachino Rossini’s “La calunnia e un venticello” from Il Barbiere di Siviglia. He will conclude the recital with the traditional German folk song “Drinking.” Phyllis Walker will accompany Landers on the piano.
