During the fall and winter seasons, Arkansas is always full of different events ranging from scary and friendly to fun. So get some friends together and make a trip to a few of the local events. Just a few of these events include Boo at the Zoo and Wild Winter Country.
There is something for everybody at Boo at the Zoo. For the kids there are carousel rides, carnival rides, inflatables, trick or treating and many more fun activities. For the adults there are concessions, haunted houses, carnival rides, live music and more. Boo at the Zoo is family friendly and more information about the event can be found at littlerockzoo.com.
This winter, for the very first time, Wild River Country in North Little Rock will be transformed into a snow park called Wild Winter Country. Beginning Nov. 22 and lasting through March 30, 2014, families will be able to play in the snow at Wild Winter Country.
The park will be covered in real snow, with different snow related activities to participate in. Activities include throwing snowballs, building a snowman and snow tubing. Also, from Nov. 22 through Dec. 23, Santa Claus will make an appearance at the park and be available for pictures. The prices for the park will vary depending on what events you choose to participate in. Visit wildrivercountry.com for more information.
