“Freshman year I actually had a solo in the Campus Ministries Gym Class show, I was the nerd. The week of Tunes I got sick and wasn’t able to actually sing very well but it turned out ok because it fit my part of a little nerdy math geek. People look back at it now and they’re like, ‘Wow, who is that? That’s awful.’ Like I’ve heard that before.”
