OBU cross country takes Lyon Invitational

The Ouachita Baptist cross country team had three runners finish in the top five as the Lady Tigers won the Lyon Invitational Thursday afternoon.
Hannah Howard picked up her first win of the season, crossing the line in 19:30. Teammate Logan Lyles was second in 19:50. Amanda Boyce took fourth in 20:20. Hannah Wagley (sixth) and Monica Davis (eighth) finished in 20:50 and 21:10, respectively, to round out the scoring.

Ouachita had 21 points, beating rival Henderson State by 20 points as the Lady Reddies finished with 41 points.

The Lady Tigers have one more meet prior to the Gulf South Conference Championships Oct. 24. Ouachita will run 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 11 in Searcy, Ark., at the Bison Stampede.
