OBU golfers finish 13th at Delta State University invitational

The Ouachita Baptist men’s golf team concluded play Saturday at the Derrall Foreman Invitational by placing 13th after firing a two-day total of 616 at Delta State University.

The Tigers shot an opening-round 308 during Friday’s round and shot the same total in the final round.

Rob Greer shot a 75 on the final day for a 151, tied for 40th. Cole Fisher (tied for 47th) and Klayton Seyler (tied for 47th) shot a two-day mark of 154. Bobby Allen, who finished tied for 59th, had a 78 for a 157 and Blake Sisson rounded out the team tied for 66th with a two-day total of 162.

The North Alabama Purple Team won the event with a 559. Brett Munson was the overall medalist with a 135. Arkansas Tech also had a 559, but lost in a playoff to North Alabama. The Delta State White squad took third with a 573.
