OBU men’s tennis finishes year ninth

The final ranking came out for the Ouachita Baptist men’s tennis team as the Tigers were the third Gulf South Conference school in the top 10 by finishing ninth.
Ouachita Baptist, which fell to West Florida during the second round of the NCAA National Championships, was ninth, while Valdosta State was fourth and West Florida fifth. Armstrong Atlantic State of the Peach Belt Conference garnered the top spot. Barry and Drury were second and third, respectively. Lynn was sixth, while Francis Marion and Cameron were seventh and eighth. Behind the Tigers was Hawaii Pacific in the 10th spot.

Ondra Vana finished the year ranked eighth in singles play and was the only player from the Gulf South Conference in the top 10. Jan Plewinski was 29th in singles action. The doubles team of Vana and Jakub Smid were fourth in the country.
