Ouachita students break national record

During this past weekend at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock aquatics facility, the OBU men’s 200 medley relay team of Nelson Silva, Hal Eubanks, Max Heinze and Radu Badalac broke the
NCAA Division II national record with a time of 1:28.52.

The previous time of 1:29.86 was set by the University of North Dakota in 2007 at the National Championships.

This accomplishment marks the first relay national record by the Tigersharks.
