POSTPONED: Ouachita Basketball Games postponed until Monday

February 9, 2011

ARKADELPHIA- Ouachita Baptist Director of Athletics David Sharp has announced that due to a snow storm in the Arkadelphia area, the Ouachita basketball games against Delta State at Bill Vining Arena have been postponed until Monday, Feb. 14.

The games were scheduled to be played Thursday at Bill Vining Arena, but university officials from both institutions agreed that inclement weather has forced the games to be moved to Monday.

Ouachita will begin the women’s game against No. 3 Delta State at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 14, followed by a men’s game at 8 p.m.

The PINK OUT Breast Cancer Awareness activities will also be moved to Monday, where fans will be encouraged to wear pink and bring a donation to support Breast Cancer research. Fans that donate $1 or more, will receive a pink bracelet in honor of their commitment of the fight of breast cancer.

What better way to spend your Valentine’s Day than spending it with Tiger Nation as Ouachita Basketball takes on Delta State at Bill Vining Arena!
