Top Five Things to give up for Lent

February 22, 2010

1. Coffee or Sodas – All of that caffeine isn’t good for you anyway.

2. Television – Because you can always catch up with your favorite shows online later.

3. Facebook – I know it’s going to be hard to be in the know without it, but lent is all about sacrifice, right?

4. Candy – Opt for a healthier alternative like carrots or apples so you get the sweetness without the tooth decay.

5. Texting – As one of our opinion editors can tell you, this one is tough, but think of all the nice face-to-face conversations you’ll have with friends.
