July 3, 2008

Ouachita Baptist Director of Athletics David Sharp announced a change in the upcoming 2008 Tiger football schedule Thursday.

Ouachita Baptist was originally scheduled to play Arkansas-Monticello in a Gulf South Conference game 1:30 p.m., Oct. 4 at A.U. Williams Field, but the time has now been changed to 7:00 p.m., and also moved to the Gulf South Conference Game of the Week. The game will be available to watch on CSS and Cox Sports.

The Tigers will now take part in two GSC Games of the Week as Ouachita Baptist will play host to Arkansas-Monticello and travel to rival Henderson State on Nov. 6.

Ouachita Baptist will open the 2008 season with back-to-back home games, starting Saturday, Sept. 6 against Fort Lewis. The Tigers remain home the follow week, opening Gulf South Conference action against West Georgia.
