November 3, 2008

The Ouachita Baptist University men’s swimming & diving team couldn’t come up with a win Saturday morning, falling to Missouri S&T, 120-103 at Waggoner Pool.

The medley relay team of Radu Badalac, Razvan Goga, Daniel Karkoska and Max Heinze started off the meet with a first-place finish in a time of 3:28.80. Other first place victories include Badalac in the 200 and 100 freestyle, Chris Hull in the 1 and 3 meter diving, Hal Eubanks in the 50 freestyle, and Nelson Silva in the 200 backstroke.

“Missouri S & T is a very talented group that has the experience to get up for any meet,” Ouachita coach Ryan Killackey said. “We have what it takes to win, but today showed that anything can happen.”

The Tigersharks return to the Waggoner pool 2 p.m., Saturday Nov. 8 to take on Delta State.
