“I took Issues of Mass Comm with Dr. Jeff Root last semester. He’s one of my favorite professors and also my academic advisor. Well he got mad at me when I told him I wanted to take Christian Studies senior sem instead of Mass Comm senior sem because he teaches Mass Comm senior sem. I told him it wasn’t personal and he acted like he wasn’t mad at me but then in class he kept making comments in class about how I must not like him because I didn’t want to take his class. So in class, we took a quiz and I was struggling to answer a question and Dr. Root comes over and purposefully says, ‘Hmm, you may want to change your answer for that quiz question.’ So we changed our answer. Then when we graded the quiz, turns out he had purposefully given us the wrong answer because he was mad at us. But when he gave us our quizzes back he didn’t count the question wrong. So he must have felt bad for purposefully tricking us.”
