Audio Slide Show: A look back at the Holocaust

December 6, 2008

The Signal Editor Chloe O’Connor sat down with Holocaust survivor Rosa Blum during Blum’s Nov. 18 visit to Ouachita Baptist University for a powerful interview. O’Connor compiled the audio slide show below to illustrate some of the tragedy of the Holocaust. O’Connor utilized a collection of photos from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the horrific stories from Blum to paint a picture of what life was like for Blum and her family in the early 1940s.

As an added feature, click on the word “captions” in the lower right corner of the slide show player below to see additional information about each historic photo.

  1. Great job with this audio slide show Chloe! Your transitions are smooth; good mix of photos. You capture Mrs. Blum’s visit/story well.
