OBU football announces spring football schedule

Coming off its best season in more than 20 years, Ouachita Baptist University head football coach Todd Knight announced the dates for the upcoming season.

The Tigers, who went 7-3, including ending the season on a five-game winning streak, will begin spring football 3:45 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 17. Ouachita will begin the practice season in helmets and will move to A.U. Williams Field 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 21 to practice in full gear.

The first of three scrimmages will be 3:15, Friday, Feb. 27 at A.U. Williams Field. Ouachita’s next scrimmage is set for the same time a week later on March 6. The final week of the practice season is March 8-14 as the Tigers will be in Shells March 10 and March 12, followed by a practice at A.U. Williams Field in helmets on March 13.

Spring practice concludes with the annual Purple/White game 10 a.m., Saturday, March 14 at A.U. Williams Field.
