OBU Men’s Soccer debuts at No. 6 in NCAA Division II South Region poll

ARKADELPHIA- The Ouachita Baptist Men’s Soccer debuted at No. 6 in the initial Oct. 5 edition of the NCAA Division II South Region Poll, officials announced on Tuesday.

Ouachita (7-3-1) currently holds the final spot in the NCAA South Region rankings, which is the official playoff selection committee system for postseason play.

Ahead of the Tigers (5-2 in-region record) are No. 1 Rollins (5-2), followed by Barry (3-2-1), Saint Leo (4-2), West Florida (3-3-1) and Lynn (5-2).

Ouachita will continue with the 2010 regular season schedule, next taking on Delta State on Oct. 10 at 3 p.m. in a non-conference match in Arkadelphia.
