OBU volleyball rolls past Rollins

Meredith Henry and Libby Merritt paced the Ouachita Baptist University volleyball team Friday as the Lady Tigers rolled past Rollins, 3-1, in a nonconference match at the Rhodes Field House.

Ouachita (6-20) won the contest with scores of 28-26, 23-25, 25-18, 25-11.

Henry finished with 18 kills, while Merritt added 15. Lexie Hegi recorded 43 assists and 14 digs. Lauren Stuart led the Lady Tigers with 27 digs and Raichel Settle finished with 20.

Nikki Hartman led the Tars (16-11) with 14 kills and 18 digs. Caitlin Vyborny added 10 kills. Erin Wareham chipped in with 33 assists. Defensively, Phoebe Corder added 25 digs and Sarah Carr recorded 10.

The Lady Tigers travel 6 p.m., Oct. 21 to Memphis, Tenn., to take on Christian Brothers in a Gulf South Conference West Division match.
