Humans of OBU: Professors

February 21, 2016

“Campus life has kept me young in heart and spirit. Spending all of my adult life on a college campus in the company of bright young people has been an invigorating experience. I think I am far more aware of popular culture and trends than would have been the case otherwise. A professor lives in two worlds: my own campus and the community of scholars in my discipline. Being a part of a national/international scholarly community has kept me open to new ideas and reinterpretations of old understandings.”
