Leah Jones to present senior horn recital Nov. 5

ARKADELPHIA, Ark.—Ouachita Baptist University’s Division of Music will present Leah Jones, a senior instrumental music education major from Burkburnett, Texas, in her senior horn recital Friday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. in Mabee Fine Arts Center’s McBeth Recital Hall.

Jones is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda national music honor society and was Tau Beta Sigma national honorary band sorority’s 2010 Homecoming Court nominee. She has also been named to Ouachita’s President’s and Dean’s Lists.

Jones will perform “Allegro” and “Andante con moto” from Richard Strauss’ “Concerto No. 2 for Horn,” “Allegro” from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Concerto No. 1 for Horn” and Paul Dukas’ “Villanelle.”
