Tonrey named to GSC Men’s Soccer All-Tournament Team

PENSACOLA, Fla.- Ouachita Baptist senior Alex Tonrey has been named to the 2010 Gulf South Conference Men’s Soccer All-Tournament Team, officials announced on Sunday.

Tonrey was a dominant force all season for the Tigers, earning a spot on the All-GSC First Team, after earning a spot on the All-GSC Second Team in 2008. The Plano, Texas native finished second in the GSC in assists with seven, while finishing first in assists per game with .44. The senior earned GSC Defender of the Week honors on Sept. 7, after earning a spot on the 2010 All-GSC Preseason squad.

Ouachita Baptist finished the 2010 season with a 3-0 loss to Christian Brothers in the GSC Tournament opener.
