ARKADELPHIA, Ark.—Ouachita Baptist University’s Office of Admissions Counseling will welcome prospective students and their families for a Fall Preview Day on Saturday, Nov. 3.

Preview Day is a designed to “allow prospective students the opportunity to get to know campus as well as faculty, staff and current students in order to spark or intensify their interest inattending Ouachita,” said Katie Mahfouz, an OBU admissions counselor.

Prospective students begin the day with registration in Jones Performing Arts Center at 8:30 a.m. followed by the opening session at 9 a.m. In this session they will have the opportunity to meet with their admissions counselor and the financial aid office.

Next, students and their families will have the opportunity to meet with Ouachita’s academic deans and take a campus tour. To end the day, they are invited to attend lunch at the Tiger Tailgate and watch the Tiger football team play against Southern Arkansas University at A.U. Williams Field.

“Preview Day is a great opportunity for us to show students campus and see what a weekend is like for Ouachita students,” Mahfouz added. “By being able to see the tailgate, game and students spending time on campus, the prospective students are able to experience first-hand what we often find ourselves trying to explain.”
