OBU’s Tonrey selected to All-GSC men’s soccer second team

Ouachita Baptist University defender Alex Tonrey was selected Wednesday to the All-Gulf South Conference Men’s Soccer Second Team.

Tonrey, a native of Plano, Texas, started in all 11 games this season for the Tigers. He recorded four goals and an assist for nine points.

Montevallo’s Jonathan Maloney was tabbed GSC Player of the Year and Harding’s Phillip McCorkick garnered Freshman of the Year honors. Greg Harris of Harding earned the GSC Coach of the Year.
