May 20, 1993, in Jacksonville, Fla.

 

Do you have any siblings? If so, what are their names and how old are they?

Riley, 17. Jessica, 26. Rachel, 26.

 

Where did you go to high school?

Lake Hamilton High School.

 

Were you involved in any extracurricular activities in high school? If so, which ones?

Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Swim Team, Student Christian Life, Student Council, Thespians, Yearbook Staff, Pep Rally announcer, Spanish Club, Spanish Honor Society.

 

Who was the most influential person in your life growing up? Why?

My dad, he showed me how to love a family to the fullest and taught me basically everything I know about my spiritual walk.

 

Why did you decide to come to Ouachita Baptist University?

I loved the community aspect of Ouachita, the small class sizes and its great reputation.

 

What is your major(s) and minor(s)?

Christian Philosophy and Theology major.

 

What on-campus activities do you participate in at OBU?

Beta Beta, Campus Ministries, Ouachita Singers, Student Senate, Tigers for Life Committee, Christian Focus Week Leadership, Kanakuk Campus Representative.

 

What are your goals after graduation?

Not sure yet; possibly seminary, law school or full-time Kamp ministry.

 

What is your ideal job?

Anything where I can be with people, and help people. And travel — I love travel. So whatever job that is.

 

Why did you decide to try out to be a Tiger Tunes hostess?

I love singing, I love Tunes and I love getting to serve Ouachita in such an impactful capacity.

 

Did you look to anyone for advice as you thought about trying out? Who and why?

Past host and hostesses as well as my friends with good musical critiquing abilities, including Carli Sasser, Steven Rutherford, Drew Farris, Jeremy Dixon and Abby Lindsey.

 

What was your reaction when you first learned you had been chosen as a hostess?

I was so taken aback, I couldn’t believe it was a reality that I would get this opportunity.

 

What do you want people to remember most about the 2013 Tiger Tunes show?

I want people to remember the fun. It’s going to be so much fun, so I want them to remember that.

 

What has been the funniest experience so far as you all have been practicing for Tiger Tunes?

When we all get crazy tired and loopy and everyone is ridiculous.
