Battle of the Ravine Basketball Game set for Thursday

February 23, 2011

Last year’s face off between the Tigers and the Reddies ended victoriously for Ouachita Baptist University. The Lady Tigers squeaked in a 79-77 win with a last second 3-point shot by Gabby Coleman. The men did their job as well, pulling out an 81-73 win and securing a solid sweep for both teams in the Battle of the Ravine series.

This Thursday, the battle will ensue once more in Bill Vining Arena. Expect a great matchup as the Tigers look to add another win to their conference record. Come out and support both the men’s and women’s basketball teams. The Lady Tigers will tip off at 6 p.m. and the men will follow at 8 p.m.
