Best DIY costumes for Halloween 2015

October 29, 2015

Halloween is this Saturday, and if you’re still into trick-or-treating, you might have already gotten yourself a costume to win the hearts and candy of the people around you.  However, if you resemble a college student in the slightest, you probably haven’t even begun to think about your Halloween costume, which is a must for Halloween parties! Don’t worry; you don’t have to break the bank to create the perfect Halloween costume! In fact, I’ve created a list of easy DIY costumes that’ll win any costume contest (unless you’ve got that one person who can afford to buy a costume from an actual costume store!).

1. Your favorite professor

As the saying goes, imitation is the highest form of flattery. Why not dress up as your favorite professor? Who knows, maybe they’ll give you bonus pointsfor choosing them as your muse for this Halloween (even though they’ll probably just laugh at you, but it’s worth a shot).

2. Common white girl

This costume’s so easy to put together that anyone can do it! All you need is an x-large T-shirt, black leggings, Ugg boots, an iPhone, and your favorite Starbucks drink! Make sure to say “I can’t even” at least 15 times to pull it all together!

3. Hunter

This costume is another easy one. I mean, come on, we live in the state of Arkansas! Where can you not find camouflage? Where can you not find a Walmart? Just dress head to toe in camo and you’re good! This also works if you’re looking for the “redneck” look.

4. Donald Trump

This DIY costume is perfect for guys looking for a last minute costume! All you need is a suit, a blond wig, and a fat wallet! Don’t forget to tell people they’re fired!

5. Hipster

Some people already dress like this, so you don’t even have to drastically change your appearance! All you need to transform into the ultimate hipster is a pair of skinny jeans, flannel shirt, some Chuckie Ts, and a pair of 3D glasses with the lenses knocked out. Bring a cup of hot coffee with you so that you can drink it before it’s cool!

Hopefully those will help! Happy Halloween!
