Editors Present Sessions at High School Press Convention

Members of The Signal‘s editorial team were among the featured speakers at the Arkansas Scholastic Press Association’s fall training conference held Thursday, Oct. 25 at Nashville High School in Nashville, Ark.

Editor-in-Chief Tanner Ward presented three sessions, including “Newspaper Basics: Writing and Design 101,” “Contemporary Design and the Modern Newspaper” and “Staff Leadership, Writing and Design Q & A.”

Online Editor Daniel Aylett presented three sessions as well, including “Online Design,” “Online vs. Print Journalism” and “Flexibility in Today’s Changing World of Journalism.”

Photography Editor Nicole McPhate presented “Photography: The Basics,” “Photos for Publication: the Good vs. the Bad” and “Lighting Tips & Tricks and Photography Q & A.”
