Enactus, Rosa’s Mexican Kitchen host 2016 Feed My Starving Children meal pack

March 7, 2016

For the past three years, Ouachita’s chapter of Enactus, a national organization for business students, has partnered with local restaurant Rosa’s Mexican Kitchen and Feed My Starving Children, a Christian non-profit dedicated to ending world hunger, to host the Feed My Starving Children mobile pack.

At the mobile pack, hundreds of volunteers come together for the weekend and work in two-hour sessions to assemble and pack thousands of individual meals that Feed My Starving Children will in turn deliver to hungry children in different countries around the world. This year’s mobile pack, held last Friday and Saturday, March 4-5, boasted volunteers from local Arkadelphia schools and churches, various Ouachita and Henderson student groups and organizations, as well as individuals and families who wanted to help. Thousands of meals were packed in just two days thanks to the work of the volunteer teams, the Enactus mobile pack team, and Rosa’s Mexican Kitchen.
