Ouachita Baptist University’s Career Services will host a Majors Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 26, in Grant Plaza from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. This event is targeted toward freshmen and sophomores, but all are welcome to attend.

“The Majors Fair provides students the opportunity to acquire information about majors, minors and academic programs in a relaxed and informal setting,” said Mallory Moddelmog, OBU’s director of Career Services. “Deans, faculty and upperclassman will be available to answer any questions students might have regarding their programs.”

In addition to these booths, there will be representatives from the Elrod Center for Family and Community for students interested in volunteer opportunities, the GrantCenter for International Education for students wanting to learn more aboutstudy abroad opportunities and the Carl Goodson Honors Program. OBU’s Campus Activities Office will be available with information about plugging into campus life and will be serving free popcorn to any students who stop by their booth. The Career Services Office will also have a booth for information about services offered.

Students are encouraged to check in at the registration table when they arrive to enter to win door prizes. The fair will be moved inside to Evans Student Center in the event of rain.
