Pourjavad Named to NSCAA All-Central Team

KANSAS CITY, Kan.- Following the conclusion of his senior season on the Ouachita men’s soccer team, midfieldier Payam Pourjavad has been named to the 2012 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division II All-Central Region team.

Pourjavad finished the year with four goals and three assists for a total of 11 points while participating in all 17 games for the Tigers. He had 13 shots on goal over the course of the season, while also recording a game winner.

Payam was one of five midfielders named to the All-Central Region team, with a total of 15 players named to the team.
