Slideshow: McBeth Collection

February 21, 2012

Dr. W. Francis McBeth was an internationally acclaimed composer and conductor and former professor of music at Ouachita who passed away in January. McBeth’s wife Mary has been working with Dr. Ray Granade, director of library services, to donate many of the documents and books that record McBeth’s life as a composer, professor and person. The items are being preserved and stored in the Riley-Hickingbotham Library’s archives so students, faculty and the public will be able to research McBeth.
