5 Ouachita Alumnae competing for the title of Miss Arkansas 2011

July 12, 2011
This week 46 young women from across the state will vie for the title of Miss Arkansas 2011. Ouachita is well represented this year as we have 5 ladies competing for the crown! This is great for our university and we are looking forward to a fun week of competition. We especially want to send best wishes to our current Miss Ouachita Baptist University, Kristen Glover. Kristen will compete in Swimsuit on Wednesday, Evening Gown on Thursday, and Talent on Friday. Saturday night the Top 10 will be announced and those ladies will compete in all phases of competition, culminating with the crowning of Miss Arkansas 2011! Tickets are still available through Ticketmaster if you would like to come support our contestants.
NEW THIS YEAR…

On Friday and Saturday, July 15 and 16, fraternity and sorority members will be able to watch the final night of preliminary competition and the crowning night for free as well! Greek members are asked to wear their letters or pin in order to gain complimentary admission.

For both groups, there will be a table set up outside the Convention Center, on the Embassy Suites side near the box office. Fraternity and sorority members are asked to check in between 6:30pm and 7:15 pm each night to claim their tickets.

For more information on the pageant and results from each night of competition, visit www.missarkansas.org

Please remember these 5 young ladies as they compete this week. We’re hoping for another Ouachita girl to take home the crown of Miss Arkansas again this year!
